Sunshine had puppies

Well I guess you cannot count on those prenancy tests because Sunshine delivered 14 puppies Friday 12-30-2011. If you can believe it she had 12 girls and only 2 males so I hope some of you guys wanting males will take a girl instead or wait for the next litter in 6 months.She started labor at 4:20 PM and ended up about 3 Am on New years Eve. She was a pro and had no problems I never got one placenta away from her. The puppies sort of eased out with no warning and I had to look to see she delivered a puppy. She had them cleaned, umbilical cut before you could even get the puppy. She is such a good mom and I can hardly get her to go outside to go pee.

Good News I think Sunshine is pregnant!!!!!!!!!!!

I do not know why the pregnacy test was negaitve= maybe it was too early but Sunshine really looks pregnant to me She has no waist anymore and is eating anything she can get a hold of. So I hope I am right and have puppies at th new year. Kitty

Sunshine not pregnant

Sorry everyone Sunshine is not pregnant. She got very sick when we came home from the national and all I can think of is that she absorbed the puppies as Eragon bred her 3 times and he is a proven stud. So sorry I hope I have better luck in 6 months.

Eragon bred Sunshine!!!!!!!!!!

Eragon bred Sunshine Nove 1,2011. So should be having a litter of blue pups end of December. I will pregnancy check end of November to verify she is pregnant. Both Eragon and Sunshine have passed all of their health checks- heart,thyroid, eyes and hips. Dauby did very well at the nationals. She got a second in her class 7-9 mos in Futurity and got first in her class in the regular show. I was proud of her. You would have thought she was an old pro and not her second show and her first inside. And lots of nosie and people. What a show girl she is going to be.

Puppies are Here

Belize had her puppies on Sunday Oct 17th but she only had two puppies both girls. I am sorry to all of you who have filled out questionnaires for this litter. I will not commit either puppy (one black and one fawn) until I see t hem for awhile. I am planning to breed her to a very nice fawn who carries for blue in the spring. Again I am so sorry to dissappoint all of you. Kitty

My Devin is Gone

I have sad news Devin died yesterday (Oct 10, 2011) of hemangiosarcoma of the liver and spleen. He was 9 years old and a triple Champion (AKC, International and UKC Grand Champion) He is the father of my litter due the 16th of Oct. I will miss him terribly as he was a gentle,beautiful dog. He was my carting buddy and he loved it.

New Champion

Eragon won his Championship in Utah on Saturday September 18,2011. Judge Lorraine Boutwell from Kansas City, Mo. Thanks Lorraine. His handler is Mort Evans. Thanks Mort. Eragon won Best of Winners to get the cross over major.

Devin bred to Belize

Today Aug 19th I surgically implanted Devin's frozen semen into Belize. Devin is still going strong at 9 years old but had a bit of a problem mounting a three year old who did not want to be caught so used his frozen semen. Will know in a month if breeding took.

Rainbow boy is no longer available. he has a forever home and will live in San Diego.

Well the pups are 7 weeks old and growing rapidly. My show home could not take the pup so I have a blue male available but really would like a show home. here are pics of the pups first time outside and playing with a already chewed milk carton. So why buy expensive toys.

Which girl will I take

here are the two girls who are show quality who I will be considering to let into my household. I have a very good home for the other girl to go to so she will not be deprived.

Puppies 5 weeks old

The puppies are getting big all are over 10 pounds. They are really smart I have to be careful or they find a way out of their pen. All of the new puppy owners are getting excited about picking up their new puppy.

Puppies 4 weeks

Sunshine loves the puppies but mom is not thrilled anymore. Grandma Magic also loves the puppies. They are starting to play with toys and developing personalities.

The pups have their eyes open and are starting to play. They have had their first feeding of a gruel. They will come up to the pen when you put your finger in so they are staring to respond to stimuli. They are oh sooooo cute.

Belize whelped 7 puppies Sunday evening. She started at 4Pm and finished at 8PM. Pretty fast and no problems what so ever. She had 1 male Black, 2 blue males, 3 black females and 1 blue female. I am keeping the best girl and hope a friend will take a blue male for a show home.

The creek becomes a lake

It's raining, it's raining, it's raining. My little creek has become a lake. The first in 15 years. Oh we are sooooo happy to have all this rain.
