Pups 4 weeks old

The pups are 4 weeks old and getting into mischief. I wish it was not so cold but soon they can probably go outside for awhile.

Bagheera

Bagheera is now 14 weeks old and what a personality. She will be a great show dog. Her and Titan like to play.

Puppies 3 weeks old

the puppies are moving around and already eliminating on the newspaper. They had their first two feedings Not everyone has liked the food but some have started eating. Mom is wonderful and so still nursing a lot.

Puppies are Walking

Puppies have their eyes opened and are now walking. Sunshine is still the best mom I have ever seen. she gets upset when they start wandering and tries to pick them up with her mouth but they are all over 2 pounds. I still have females available so go to my website if interested.

one week old

Puppies are a week old and doing great. Sunshine is a great mom. She will leave them now for about 5 min and practically tears the door down trying to get back in the house.

Sunshine's whelping

Sunshine started whelping at 4:22 PM on Friday Nov 30,2011 I went through the first 9 all girls and 2 boys. The puppies sort of just slipped out I could not tell when she had one. She had the placenta eaten before I even knew it. She is very careful and never steps on them. She has to be hand fed. I kept up with the puppies till 10:30 PM She had had 9 by this time, 7 girls and 2 boys. Steph took over till 1:30 AM She had had two more girls and Steph thought she was done. So the count was 11. when I woke up and looked at the pile of puppies something was not right. So I counted them and there were 14. So she had three more girls after we went to bed and thought she was done. So much for the pregnancy test I still cannot figure that one out. She is a really good mom. she never steps on any and keeps them all together. Of course someone is always nursing. She is eating a little better today Tuesday. Dew claws get done today.

Sunshine had puppies

Well I guess you cannot count on those prenancy tests because Sunshine delivered 14 puppies Friday 12-30-2011. If you can believe it she had 12 girls and only 2 males so I hope some of you guys wanting males will take a girl instead or wait for the next litter in 6 months.She started labor at 4:20 PM and ended up about 3 Am on New years Eve. She was a pro and had no problems I never got one placenta away from her. The puppies sort of eased out with no warning and I had to look to see she delivered a puppy. She had them cleaned, umbilical cut before you could even get the puppy. She is such a good mom and I can hardly get her to go outside to go pee.
